GMS 6-8 Unified Basketball Game
A GMS Unified Basketball game last Friday afternoon was a big hit, drawing a large audience with an enthusiastic student section cheering the student athletes on!Did Someone Say Pie?
Teachers at GMS 6-8 helped students raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation by taking a pie in the face last week on March 14 (hint: 3.14). Pi(e) Day! Below, Teachers Heather Daigle, Shannon Montgomery, and Ben Caswell step up to the plate. And Doug Pride's math students actually made the pie at GHS.GHS Alpine Ski Team for a great season! Highlights included a 2nd place finish in the GS and 4th in slalom by Ruth Weeks at the Western Maine Conference Championships and a 5th place finish in the GS and 4th in the slalom at the Maine State Championships.

Treble Chorus, Madrigal Singers and the full GHS Concert Chorus, conducted by Mrs. Bailey. Congratulations for a wonderful performance.
Jazz Band and Jazz Combo for performing at the State Jazz Festival at Hampden Academy. It was a very successful day for our Greely musicians. Our Jazz Band received the highest score in the state and our Combo had the second highest score in our division. Additionally Nathan Howell (drums) and Cam Anderson (Tenor Sax) received two of the five Outstanding Musicianship awards in the combo division. Cam Anderson received an Outstanding Musicianship award in the Big Band division. Nathan Howell was also honored with the "Dale Huff" award given to the most outstanding musician in the Big Band division.
