Greely Middle School's National Spelling Bee In English classes, in grades 5-8, students have been participating in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. This national competition is the nation’s longest running and largest education program with a stated purpose “...to help students improve their spelling, increase their vocabularies, learn concepts and develop correct English usage that will help them all their lives.” These classroom champions competed in the Greely Middle School Spelling Bee on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, for the opportunity to represent our community at the Cumberland County Spelling Bee.
