Update: June 8, 2020
On Sunday, June 7, Greely High School hosted its 140th Commencement Ceremonies for the Class of 2020. Four celebrations took place, to ensure social distancing requirements, along with a "reverse parade" through the campus. While this certainly isn't the normal kind of celebration that we're used to given the pandemic, we hope that fond memories of their last year at Greely fill their minds and hearts as they move into this next phase of their lives.
To the Class: We are proud of you and can't wait to see what you accomplish as you continue down the road of life. Congratulations to the Class of 2020!

IMPORTANT Survey Coming to You
Please look for a survey coming out Friday regarding plans for the 2020-21 school year. The Board of Directors previewed a DRAFT plan for multiple possibilities of what school could look like in 2020-21 based on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic. While we hope that school will open more typically in September, we also will be preparing for other possibilities.
Your feedback is very much needed in order to inform the DRAFT plan and what is feasible and what is not. The district will take this feedback into consideration and put forth a final plan for approval by the Board at their Monday, July 20 Board meeting.

The Board of Directors unanimously adopted the 2020-21 Budget on June 8. Information about the 2020-21 proposed budget can be found at this link: 2020-21 Budget Info.
Next Steps include a virtual public hearing on the proposed warrant articles on Tuesday, June 16 @ 6:00pm where the public can hear more about each category of the budget and ask questions. Please note that the governor has waived the district budget meeting requirement this year due to the pandemic. The final step is the July 14 validation referendum which can either be done in person at GHS or by absentee ballot through your town office.
