Greely High School ranked #1 in State of Maine

Maine Association of School Libraries Administrator of the Year Award
MASL Administrator Award was instituted to recognize excellence and support for improved school library programs in Maine schools. Specifically this award recognizes the contributions of school administrators toward that goal and seeks to encourage other administrators to acknowledge the vital nature of school library programs and staff to the improvement of student learning for all students. This year, that award is being given to GHS Principal, Mr. Christopher Hoffman. To view the video about Mr. Hoffman from MASL, click here.
The Learning Space
MPBN will be piloting a new show, The Learning Space, to bring lessons to students without internet access. Maine Public Television has partnered with Teachers to deliver daily half hour episodes through the middle of June. Greely Middle School fourth grade teacher Cherrie MacInnes is one of the educators producing an episode for the show. More details are available here.
School Lunch Hero Day - May 1st
May 1st, every year, is dedicated to our School Lunch Staff. This year certainly is no different. Even though our schools are closed and we have limited staff in the kitchen, these staff members are working tirelessly to make over 150 lunches and breakfasts each day to support our families. Thank you for all you have done and are doing for our students. We appreciate all your efforts!
Here, some of the students in Mrs. Duncan's class show their support for our wonderful School Lunch Heros!
Continuity of Learning
Wondering what is going on with MSAD #51's Continuity of Learning? You can see up to date photos, school work, and videos (both student and staff) on our Continuity of Learning Website, linked here. Throughout the rest of the school year, we will be highlighting some of the awesome work being done.
